When you live in France you have to pay the taxes too. You have to declare your taxes at the end of January. Either you do it on the internet, it's fast, or you do it by letter. If you don't have anyone to help you, the easiest thing is to go to your nearest tax center with all your bulletins from the present year. The main things you have to write is wether you had a full-time work the last year, if you have a tv and if you can have "la prime de l'emploi". Most young people have the right to it. You might know it from your own country as the Earned income tax credit or the Working tax credit. Ask the person at the tax center if you have the right, because most people with low salaries have the right to get this. If you receive (or pay) the taxes, it will be around september the following year.
